After reading through the wikipedia articles, I found this to be a very interesting blog with lots of technical information on UEFI: Matthew Garrett's Blog.
UEFI on ARM is very controversial at the moment since Microsoft has decreed that they will not allow the secure boot to allow custom or third party keys. Way to play nice with the rest of the playground...
